Job description
At least 3 years’ experience driving a commercial vehicle. We have 3.5-ton Luton Vehicles.
Must be honest, reliable, a good timekeeper and have excellent customer skills.
Be able to arrive at the pickup point in Norwich on time.
Be prepared for physically demanding work and be flexible to take on any other required tasks.
Keen eye for detail and the ability to report any issues as they happen.
Advantageous
Box packing experience is required but can be trained if necessary.
Van loading is required but training can be given if necessary.
Job Description
Arrive on time at the pickup point and spend the day as a porter or sharing the driving.
Packing customer belongings into boxes and wrapping items ready for loading in a neat correct manner.
Loading the van with furniture and packed items in a way to best utilise space and not damage any items.
Keep the work area and van clean and tidy at all times.
We do service offices with furniture / item removals from time to time and no two days are the same.
Occasional overnight long-distance removals are also undertaken.
This is Self-employed temporary / permanent position with good future prospects for the right candidate.
Job Type: Freelance
Salary: £9.50-£12.00 per hour
