Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Department of Finance at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor). Position openings are subject to budgetary approval. Successful applicants will be expected to conduct top-level scholarly research, deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate, MBA, MS, and PhD students and perform service.
One of 12 schools and colleges located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus, the Robert H. Smith School of Business is a recognized leader in management research and education for the global economy. Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. already in hand or expected by Fall 2024.
- Applicants for an Assistant Professor position should have high research potential, while applicants for an Associate or Full Professor position should have an established record of research excellence.
- All applicants are expected to possess excellent teaching skills, including the ability to incorporate the latest insights from research and practice into existing and new courses.
