Your new role
As a Relief/Bank Minibus Driver you’ll work across all our services transporting the elderly and vulnerable adults using accessible minibuses covering ad hoc holidays and sickness absence of our front line teams, therefore these hours may be irregular. Our relief/bank drivers will be employed on a casual contract basis and will be provided with hours on an ad hoc basis, dependent upon your availability.
You’ll be helping some of the most isolated members of our community to get out-and-about and empowering our customers to live independently. We offer good rates of pay, full training and support.
You will cover vacant shifts 8:30am-11:00am and 2:30pm to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, so if you have availability at these times please get in touch!
A bit about you
With good knowledge of the Southampton area, you’ll have a full D1 or D driving licence classification (this will be shown on your licence in the entitlement section) and hold a current, clean driving licence.
You’ll enjoy meeting people, engaging our customers in conversation and be prepared to have a belly laugh together over something silly!
If you’re successful, we need you to have an Enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service which we’ll pay for.
