Job description

RM Recruit are delighted to be working with a dynamic housing association who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Treasury Payments Co-ordinator to join their team on a part-time basis working 25 hours per week on a temporary to permanent contract. Our client is offering flexible working hours along with a fully remote working arrangement.

As a Treasury Payments Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing all aspects of our organisation's financial transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of payments and monitoring cash flows. This position requires someone with a strong transactional background, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for financial accuracy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Payment Processing: Facilitate timely and accurate processing of all rental payments
  • Verifying tenants’ bank details
  • Emailing the relevant managers to get authorisation for all payments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Cash Management: Monitor cash balances and cash flow projections to optimize working
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and proper recording of all financial transactions.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with banking partners, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any banking-related issues.

As the ideal candidate you will possess a wealth of experience in a transactional role specialising in accounts payable and receivable. Candidates with previous housing/not-for-profit experience are of high interest to our client, although candidates outside the sector will also be considered. You will be a confident communicator with a positive, personable nature able to establish relationships at ease. You will prioritse workload efficiently with a can-do attitude. An excellent telephone manner is essential for this role. You will possess exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
