If you’ve got experience in a warehouse, fantastic, we could use someone that can hit the ground running. However, experience isn’t required. So long as you’re a team player, able to handle a relatively physical role whilst being reliable and organised, you’ll easily be able to get up to speed.

Ensuring adequate care is taken with client and company property. Handling all containers with care, as contents may be fragile.
Ensure that all containers are not over-packed as to prevent warping and therefore damage to containers or customer property.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring adequate care is taken with client and company property.
Handling all containers with care, as contents may be fragile.
Ensure that all containers are not over-packed as to prevent warping and therefore damage to containers or customer property.
Damage control, reporting and repairing of damaged items.
Ensuring all packing and stacking exercises are completed correctly and as per the SOPs.
Ensuring that all of the customers’ containers have container barcode labels in the allocated position on the containers prior to movement and packing.
Keeping the scanners in good working order and reporting any damages/errors to the warehouse supervisor.
Ensuring knowledge of SOPs and compliance.
Ensuring you scan the location and container barcode label at the new location whenever moving a container from one location to another.
After completion of a scanning exercise ensure the scanners are uploaded, as per the SOPs.
Ensuring good practices are followed moving pallets.
Operating forklift trucks, where licenses are held.
Ensuring all check sheets (where appropriate) are completed prior to MHE use.
