Job Role: Production Operative
Salary: £25,312.45 - £26,578.07
We have also confirmed a 5% pay review for 2024, effective from 1 November 2023.

About the Role
You will be part of a supportive team, led by Operations Manager working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.
As Advanced Production Operative your main tasks and duties will be:
- Operate standard machinery at a basic level - full training provided.
- Ensure the effective running of production and packaging lines.
- Complete quality checks and record results, reporting any non-conformances.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the site is audit-ready at all times.
- Contribute to meeting team and company-wide production targets, which make a real difference to our business and our customers.

Salary and Benefits
You will be paid annual salary of £25,312.45 - £26,578.07. Your shift pattern will be continental shift pattern working 12-hour shifts (6.00 - 18.00 & 18.00 - 6.00) on a two-week rotation of days and nights with every other weekend off or 3 shift pattern working 8-hour shifts (6.00 – 14.00; 14:00 – 22:00; 22:00 – 6.00).

About You
You are going to be part of the Refresco team at Refresco, Nelson so it’s important you work and communicate well with your colleagues, support them when needed, take time to understand what they do, and learn how we all contribute to achieving our goals.
For the role of Advanced Production Operative, you will have previous experience of working within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment, you will be accurate in your daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail and open to learn new things as you can be involved in basic engineering and quality tasks. It would be advantageous to have Counterbalance and or Reach truck licence.
