Job description
ABOUT QIMA COFFEE:
Qima Coffee is a globally recognised coffee sourcing and trading business that specialises in discovering and offering some of the world’s finest coffees, with the aim of generating sustainable livelihoods for smallholder farmers. Qima was established in 2016, initially sourcing coffee from Yemen with the aim of generating livelihoods for smallholder farmers in one of the world’s most difficult operating environments. Having succeeded in (re)building Yemen’s coffee industry, in 2020 Qima expanded its coffee sourcing operations globally and the company now operates in numerous coffee producing countries and markets and distributes its coffees to over 40 countries worldwide.
Qima Café marks an exciting new chapter for Qima. Our central London café showcases our specialty coffee concept to our existing B2B client base as well as the wider public in a truly unique, immersive coffee experience. The café serves to showcase and feature the most progressive concepts and ideas in specialty coffee, including living income coffee prices, single farmer traceability, innovative fermentations, coffee and dessert pairings, and much more.
In line with its ethos of offering some of the world’s finest coffees, Qima cafe will look to pair those coffees with pastries and desserts of an equally exquisite standard. The cafe will explore the boundaries between pastries/desserts and coffee with the aim of offering the two as a single, complementary pairing, as opposed to two separate products.
