Logistics Operative
We are looking to appoint a full time Stores Person within our busy Stores Department. The role reporting to the Stores Team Leader would suit a self-motivated individual looking to work within a small team based in our warehouse.
The successful individual will have a positive approach to Health and Safety and work at all times in line with our values of Excellence, Integrity and Future Focus.
Responsibilities / skills and attributes
- Accepting deliveries of materials and chemicals into the relevant locations over the counter and using the forklift or appropriate equipment.
- Checking deliveries and putting away and updating the ERP system.
- Offering the best customer service over the counter with colleagues, contractors and delivery drivers and couriers.
- Collection and delivery of chemicals and other plant or materials as request.
- General housekeeping and other site tasks. The ideal candidate would be proficient in computing and competent in literacy and numeracy. The role would suit someone with great organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and it is essential to be a great team player.
Qualifications and experience
Essential
- Full Clean Driving Licence. You will be required to undertake our Driver Assessment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
Desirable
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Trailer License
- ADR Trained
- Confined Space Trained
- EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
- HIAB Truck mounted crane
- > 12 months experience in a stores/warehouse/logistics role
