Your main responsibilities
We currently have a number of vacancies for Despatch Operative in our Warehouse team. These posts present a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career within the Oscar Mayer group.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
- Order Picking
- Perform daily stock counts.
- General FLT work
- Using scanners and barcodes to manually pick orders.
- Deliver pallet standards and picking accuracy.
- Ensure correct stock rotation according to product life within warehouse.
- Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards.
What key skills would be desirable
- • Previous experience of operating Forklift Truck and/or Power pallet trucks would be
beneficial. (Successful candidate will undertake an internal assessment/ test).
- • Good knowledge of warehouse/ chilled food environment would be advantageous.
- • Effective communication skills and self-motivated.
- • Ability to work to deadlines and stay calm in a high-pressure environment.
- • Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- • Computer Literate.
