Front of House at Fortify is not just a regular ol’ barista job. Working on the Front of House team is different at Fortify because for us, experience and education is at the heart of our company.

We are looking for an experienced Front of House to join our dynamic and growing team. This position requires a great deal of customer service and organizational skills. Applicants should be interested in the Health and Wellness industry, with a passion to see people get well through holistic medicine. They must be positive on all fronts, have a strong work ethic, and have experience in customer service & sales.

Experience in the restaurant world is like gold. If you’ve ever worked as a barista, in recipe development or in a kitchen, we would love to hear your story!

Qualified applicants will be:

  • Kitchen or recipe development experience is a must!

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Provide the Fortify Experience 100% of the time while sharing our offerings with our community
  • Complete tasks assigned/delegated by the Director of Fortify Foods and Front of House Manager.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Fortify brand and lifestyle
  • Sincerely greet and welcome guests and assess their food and beverage needs through questions.
  • Prepare beverage, and food orders
  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • Actively embrace and embody the Fortify lifestyle. Aim to inspire and educate through your own experiences with the products and services offered at Fortify.
  • Be comfortable with having a social media presence to promote Fortify foods, and its offerings.
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, juice, to-go items, etc.

Experience:

Experience in a food service setting (required)

Experience in the health & wellness industry (Preferred)

Education:

Minimum grade 12 level education (required)
