Junior Application Support Analyst
c. £25k plus Shift Allowance (£4k pa) plus bonus of up to 10%
Near Newport Pagnell, with hybrid working

And, right now, they’re looking for a self-aware and transparent individual with lots of drive and enthusiasm to join their friendly, high performing IT function.
What makes you a great fit:
- At least 12 months experience of a working in an IT Support, Application Support, Help Desk, Technical Support or Service Desk role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ideally some knoweldge of SQL.
- JIRA Service Desk.
The work to be done:
How would it feel to be part of a brilliant team who provide 2nd line application support for a variety of issues. Don't worry there will be full training given.
We do want you to take responsibility for identifying, troubleshooting and resolving reported issues assigned to you.
You will apply creative problem solving and logical thinking to get issues resolved correctly and as quickly as possible.
This role will involve both application and hardware support.
There will be daily system monitoring and checks to ensure system performance is in line with operational needs.
The role requires a rotating shift pattern between 05:00 and 16:30 and an on call out of hours (one week each month on call) on a rotating shift. ie one week you will be working 05:00 until 13:30, the next a 08:00 until 16:30.
They work in a hybrid style, with 2-3 days a week in the office and the balance from home. Last but not least, you’ll need to be a car driver due to the rural location.

This will involve a two stage client interview that’s likely to be a combination of Teams and face to face. Interviews will be with the Technical Support Manager and the IT Director.
