Timber Mill Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Timber Mill Operative to join our team, in a well-established successful family business.
You will work on a production line as instructed by the Team Leader to ensure that all products are of a high standard and quality, before being delivered to the next stage of the process.
The role:
· Ensure products are produced effectively and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
· Band packs right first time, not right first time and rejects.
· Ensure correct and accurate labelling of finished products.
· Carry out basic service work: clear pointer, change blades, set cross cut etc.
· Responsible for housekeeping in your area of work.
· Report any damage or breakdowns.
· Assist colleagues as and when required by undertaking additional tasks within the business.
· Cooperate on quality, health and safety matters and suggest improvements as part of a team.
· You must be health and safety conscious, committed to following safe ways of working.

Working hours are 44 hours per week:
6.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday, 6.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday.
