We are looking for enthusiastic people to join the team at The Higgins Art Gallery and Museum Bedford as part time Front of House Assistants. Your role will be to deliver excellent customer service to the public and welcome a diverse range of visitors.

The main duties will include engaging with visitors to provide information about The Higgins Bedford, its collections and event programme and responding to visitor enquiries. You will be required to undertake reception duties including serving customers, shop and ticket cash & card sales, telephone enquiries, group bookings as well as surveillance duties in the galleries.

Two part time positions are available, one is 16 hours and the other 15.5 hours per week. You will work as part of a small team working set shifts weekdays between 10.15am and 5.15pm. You will be required to work alternate weekends 10.15am to 5.15pm on Saturdays and 1.45 to 5.15pm on Sundays plus occasional bank holidays.
