Babcock Onshore has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Coordinator based in our Onshore Office at Gloucestershire Airport near Cheltenham which will support the aviation fleet in the UK. We are looking for a reliable individual to join our fast paced team based at Gloucestershire Airport. As the Stores Coordinator you will be part of an exciting supply chain supporting many of the countries Air Ambulances. Being part of a Mission Critical Operation and developing logistics skills will be a great opportunity to develop.
Who we are looking for?
You will serve a key role within the Supply Chain team ensuring that materials are receipted on-time, despatched on-time and correctly recorded in our warehouse management system. Stock accuracy is important to us and so audits and process improvements will be a key part of what we will require from you.

The Stores Coordinator serves a key role within the Supply Chain team ensuring that materials are receipted on-time, despatched on-time and correctly recorded in our warehouse management system. Stock accuracy is important to us and so audits and process improvements will be a key part of what we will require from you.
- Goods inwards receipt of purchase orders
- Preparing shipments for despatch
- The quarantine of non-conforming aircraft parts and materials
- Raising vendor queries following the quarantine of non-conforming parts and materials
- Keeping a log of all vendor queries and who they are allocated to
- Storage of parts and materials
- Experience of logistics/ supply chain/ stores
- Ability to adapt to and manage conflicting demands
- Ability to read information in ERP systems and interpret data etc.
- Experience in the aviation industry would also be an advantage.
