Do you want to earn a minimum of £460 per week? We’re looking for a Hatchery Operative to join our Process team at our Hatchery in Shobdon, Herefordshire!

• £12 per hour plus £0.21 shift premium.

Working Hours

36 hours per week

06:00-16:00 / 4 shifts between Monday and Saturday

About the role

• Ensuring chick welfare protocols are adhered to, e.g. vaccinations, health checks.
• Ensuring chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm delivery
• Cleaning all equipment after use to the required high standards
• Safeguarding bio security and following these strict procedures
• Observing bird welfare and health and safety on site at all times

What are we looking for?

• A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
• Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

Due to Bird Welfare, it is essential that you do not own any Avian Pets or Poultry.
