About the Role:
The Faculty of Business and Law is formed of two Schools, the School of Economics, Finance and Law, and the School of Management. We are seeking a full time Research Fellow for a 3 year FTC to join the Centre for Access to Justice & Inclusion (CAJI) in the School of Economics, Finance and Law to support the activities of the Centre including its project work and research in Access to Justice, Law & Technology. CAJI engages in research, dialogue, and policy initiatives to promote the important values of access to justice and inclusion.

The centre brings together researchers from across three research clusters at ARU Law School 1. Law and Society, 2. Digital Economy and Arbitration Law and 3. Criminal Justice – to address current issues and challenges in this field applying their professional expertise to dispute resolution, access to justice, equality, migration and social rights, criminal justice, digital economy and technology change. We examine and theorize the nature of these relationships within society and examine how these relationships are being shaped and re-shaped by new technology.

With a Degree plus PhD or near completion in Law or Criminology, or other post-graduate research qualification (e.g., MRes, MPhil), ideally you will have a passion for technology and a keen interest in being interdisciplinary, with the ability to critically engage with a wide range of literatures as well as policy. You can think innovatively and work independently with limited supervision. You will be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and have good interpersonal and negotiating skills.
