Job description
We currently have 1 permanent role available for Production Operative based at our Blaenavon site.
The 12 Hour Part-Time Night shift will be from Monday - Thursday, 12:00am to 6:00am. The hourly rate of pay is £10.57 with a shift allowance of 13.33%. 24 hour per week contract.
You will carry out duties as instructed by Production Management/Working Line Leader in an efficient and effective timely manner and in accordance with all Company Manufacturing procedures in compliance with Food Safety Legislation and the Company Quality System.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
Product Quality:
Recognise sub-standard and/or incorrect product according to line standards/specifications and feed back to Working Line Leader.
Packing:
Pack product according to line standards/specifications.
Boxing:
Assemble and fill boxes according to line standards/specifications .
Cleaning:
Maintain the food hygiene standards and procedures.
Operate within Good Manufacturing Practice's, including ‘Clean As You Go’.
Communication:
Maintain clear and open communication with Front Line Managers with regards to production issues.
Attendance and Time Keeping:
Present and prepared to work at your usual place of work at the start of your shift.
Present and prepared to work at your usual place of work until completion of the handover process.
General:
Carry out any other duties as deemed reasonable by any member of the Management Team.
Continuous Improvement:
To support the manufacturing operation to help.
Reduce Waste.
Attainment to plan.
Other Accountability:
General awareness and compliance with Quality Regulations as set out in the AFF Food Safety and Quality Policy.
General awareness and compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
