Would you be interested to work as a Veterinary Surgeon only 26 weeks per year and receive a full salary and benefits? Synchronised Solution is currently recruiting an experienced RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with a keen passion for emergency and critical care. You will have a 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota. You will be working alongside a very experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and reception staff. This is a state of the art 24 hour/365 veterinary surgery in Shrewsbury. The practice offers state of the art facilities including Ultrasound, digital X-ray, flexible and rigid Endoscopy, well equipped in house lab and much more. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 to 3 years’ experience and should have a keen interest in Critical and Emergency Care. Previous experience working night shifts is desirable but not mandatory.
Location details: The veterinary practice is located in Shrewsbury. It is a large market town with excellent accessibility to major cities including London and Birmingham. Shrewsbury is also located 9 miles from the border with Wales and serves as the commercial centre for Shropshire and mid-Wales.
Salary and benefits: Further to fantastic flexibility this position offers. There is on offer a very competitive salary up to £65000 as well as a £5400 yearly accommodation allowance. A car is also provided or allowance as well as very generous CPD allowance with two days’ CPD leave and in-house CPD training, 5 weeks annual leave and fantastic career progression and partnership opportunities. There are many other benefits available including paid VDS, RCVS and BVA fees.
We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
