Job description
Our client based in Southampton is looking for a Night Support Worker to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a team who are dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of the service users they support.
The shift pattern will be 3 nights a week with the scope to pick up more hours in the future. Working hours are from 20:00 - 08:00
To be considered for this Night Support Worker vacancy, all applicants should have the following:
- Minimum 6 months experience of working in a social care setting supporting with emotional, learning, and behavioural difficulties
- Positive Attitude and Caring Approach
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to work as part of a team
You will be:
- Supporting everyone differently to their individual needs.
- Actively involved in a range of duties from supporting people who wake in the night
- Assisting Service users and encouraging Service users to go to bed
- Monitoring and checking Service users during your shift
- Updating and recording service user records to help monitor health and well-being
- Supporting Service users in their day to day activities
