Support worker required to work 8pm-8am awake shifts in a small supported living scheme. The job will consist of 3 x 12 hour shifts every 2 weeks some of these will include working weekend shifts, there will also be overtime available when there is sickness and annual leave to cover if wanted.
Duties to include supporting clients with personal care and continence care, some laundry and ironing duties, light cleaning, light food prep, support with eating and drinking and monitoring clients safety during the night.
We would like applicants to have previous care experience and/or training/qualifications, however, for the right candidate who is caring and enthusiastic to learn- full training will be given at no cost to the employee. Any applicant will have to complete some mandatory training that is required for the role.
We are currently supporting 12 supported living tenants.
We aim to give all employees every other weekend off, which is the norm, just it is not guaranteed as occasionally due to sickness and annual leave it is not achievable on the Rota.
We do aim to be as flexible as we can for our employees regarding working hours.
