An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Akari Care's recruitment team, based at our Leeds Support Centre, based in the centre of Leeds.
Akari Care provide residential and nursing care services to the elderly operating 32 homes nationally. The Internal Recruiter is an integral part of the Recruitment Team, specialising in the sourcing, attraction, recruitment and onboarding of the staff across the Akari estate. The role will take ownership of a large portfolio of vacant roles in a view to maximize sourcing of direct candidates.

Main responsibilities
- Preparation of job adverts and role profiles to attract the highest quality of candidates.
- Proactively identifying candidates by utilising multiple strategies including online databases, job boards, social media and employee referrals, as well as through networking.
- Working closely with other Internal Recruiters and the Operations team to develop and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet recruiting goals.
- Identifying and assessing talent pools to fill senior-level and difficult to fill positions; developing "passive" candidates through networking.
- Screening candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications to provide pre-qualified candidates who are the best match for the assigned positions.
- Generating a high volume, high-quality pipeline of future suitable candidates.
- Building long-term, successful relationships with Hiring Managers.
- Support in recruitment initiatives such as Open Days and recruitment campaigns to source the best talent.
- Ensure timely feedback is provided to all candidates, whatever the outcome.
- Work with the wider team to ensure job offers are made in line with business policy to drive candidate engagement and a smooth transition to onboarding.
- Complete follow up activities with successful candidates through to start date and initial employment to increase conversion.
- Occasional, nationwide travel.

Experience:
- Previous recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment either in an internal or commercial environment
- Experience of working on recruitment strategies and campaigns
- Experience of utilising ATS systems, job boards and social media channels to attract and recruit talent
A background of working within social/health care business would be advantageous as is experience of running end to end recruitment processes but these are not necessarily pre-requisites for this role.
Successful candidates will have a flexible approach to work in both distance and time to ensure the best talent is recruited.
