Job description
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Warehouse professional to join our team to lead the night shift from 9:30 am to 6 am, Monday to Friday. the post-holder will be responsible for smooth running of the night shift operations within the factory warehouse and preparing and supporting the other shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the night shift operations including planning and organising the warehouse, picking orders, preparing stock for the morning shift
- Working closely with the night shift operative to manage stock and carry out stock checks
- Working closely with the morning and afternoon teams to ensure effective and smooth handover at all times
- Creating a positive work environment and encouraging the team to commit to high standards of performance
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety and food safety at all times, as well as contributing to BRC audits and measures
- Overseeing administrative duties and ensuring you have an attention to detail
Key Requirements
- Experience of working in food manufacturing
- Previous experience in managing people
- Reliable and proactive in resolving issues
- Diligent, trustworthy and ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate
- Excellent organisational skills
- Counter balance forklift driving experience and Mini Bendi licence (preferable)
