SES Group are looking for customer focused security minded personnel for a prestigious site based in Corby.

The Security Officer role at SES Security requires individuals that can maintain safe and secure environments for clients’ premises; install excellent verbal and written communications; ensure a smart and well-presented attire at all times and install excellent patrolling and monitoring of premises and ensuring they are a valued ambassador for not only SES Security but the client of which premise they are assigned to.
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting premises and controlling access/egress points as required by the site assignment instructions
- To effectively control the access to the client’s premises, examining documentation to ascertain the authenticity and authority to gain access.
- Where provided to deliver monitoring functions to CCTV and alarm functions. To be aware of the operation of those functions and to respond as required.
- When required to assist and escort visitors to their destinations within the clients complex.
- To submit detailed reports on discovery of issues relating to health and safety and crime to the relevant persons either verbally or in report form as required.
- In line with Company policy carry out routine search procedures in a sensitive manner to include vehicles, buildings and persons as and when requested and authorised.
- To effectively deal with all incidents falling within the security remit and to effectively report all incidents to the relevant persons.
- To provide a locking service as required, locking doors and gates as required by the client.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within area of responsibility and in accordance with agreed specifications.
- To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
- Receives calls and callers to the property, determines nature of business and directs callers to destination in a timely and professional manner.
- To maintain a log of all visitors, incidents and any other records that may be required by the client.
- To maintain the clients’ keys/key safe to issue and record all movements of keys within the clients’ premises.
- Ensure all equipment relating to the officers’ duties is fully functional
- To identify suspicious persons and actions and report such circumstances.
- Ensures to build up a detailed knowledge of assignment instructions and site requirements, noting specific functions and ensuring that quality of service is equalled across all premise locations.
- Any other reasonable duties that the Company or Client may request from time to time that have not been included in the above.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience within the security industry
- Good interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at all levels
- Effective PC skills – Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellence customer service and the knowledge of delivering an exceptional service
- Full checkable 5 Year work history or back to school record
- Able to observe and accurately record incidents as they arise
- Must hold a valid SIA Security or Door Supervision License
- Driving License (on site patrol vehicle)
