Job description
As a Security Officer at Allied Universal , you are more than a Security Guard. You’ll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
It’s a varied role that includes greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols, conducting searches where required, patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you could look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same with exciting career opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
Due to licensing requirements, you must be over 18 to apply for this position. You will be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
As a Night Security Officer you will be required to work a 60 hour week, 6 on 3 off.
To be successful in this role, you must hold valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV Licences.

Responsibilities:
- operating the intercom system and monitoring CCTV
- incident reporting
- must be proficient on Microsoft Excel and Word as daily reporting is required
- excellent communication skills when responding to emails
- other adhoc tasks
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and being efficient at administration tasks whilst providing excellent security on site.
