Job descriptionWe have a 5 Positions for warehouse packing roles based in Lupset, Wakefield. This is working 10pm-6am. Straight night shifts. 1 hour break is paid!Can you work 40 hours per weekAre you looking for long term work?This role is working within the packaging industry for a company who continues to grow. The work on offer all depends on yourself, but is mainly contract, temporary but can also lead to permanentMain DutiesFast pace packing of lightweight material used in the food industry.Working on a production line in a team to meet targets.Loading light weight material into a machine.Boxing up of finished product.Ensuring company standards are met.The type of person we need :-Someone with packing experience.Someone who wants a full time long term job.Please note this role is a standing role, meaning for 8 hours you will be standing, so the candidate must be ok with standing this amount of time throughout the shifts.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From £11.57 per hourJob Title: PackerDuties:- Prepare items for shipment by assembling, packing, and labeling them appropriately- Verify and inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards- Organize and maintain inventory of packing materials- Operate packaging machinery effectively and safely- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time- Attention to detail and accuracy in packing items- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a teamNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
