As Night Loader / HGV Driver you will be loading the bulk delivery vehicles in accordance with the transport plan. You will need to hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence for this position as there will be the need to support with carrying out deliveries and collections as required.

Contract Type: Full time, Permanent

Location: Dorchester Mill, DT2 7TU

Salary: £33,456.98 per annum

Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, 9 hours per shift, on a 5 out of 7 rota basis

Start Time: 6pm but this can be negotiable

Main responsibilities:

• Loading vehicles with goods
• Weighbridge operations for both goods coming in and going out of the site

• Carrying out equipment checks as required and report problems without delay
• Maintaining the Bulk Out loading area and keeping it in a clean and tidy condition
• Delivering goods to farm when required
• Being aware of and acting in accordance with good health and safety practices, fire, first aid procedures, security, and confidentiality

To be successful in the role, you will need:

• UK Class 1 CE Licence
• Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph card

• The ability to work calmly under pressure
• To show good initiative and enthusiasm
• Knowledge of H&S regulations, safe systems of work and plant machinery
