Overview:
This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jaspers at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our Abattoir. Training will be provided so you do not need any previous experience. All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you. Shift time is Monday to Friday 15.00pm until midnight with a pay rate of £11.45 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Duties include removing debris and dirt from all surfaces, dismantling certain machinery to allow cleaning access, using a pressure washer to remove tough debris and grease and conducting deep cleaning as required. General cleaning of non-production areas is also sometimes required. Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures, training will be provided to ensure you are fully up to date with all the current SOPs. Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs. Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets. Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Although operatives will not be required to work during production, candidates must be comfortable working in aa abattoir. Candidates need to be physically fit, enthusiastic and flexible. Will display a positive and proactive attitude towards work and colleagues. Work well to meet deadlines. Be reliable and hard working. Be flexible with hours. Will enjoy team work.
