Coxbench Hall is currently looking for a Part Time Night Care Assistant to join our care team. As a Night Care Assistant, you will be required to work as part of a team to assist our Residents with their personal care, undertake checks throughout the night and carry out domestic work. Training and development of our staff is a high priority at Coxbench Hall and you will be given as much training as needed along with a comprehensive induction programme. In addition, we are always happy to offer and explore opportunities for you to acquire new skills and qualifications. For example, we are currently supporting a number of staff are currently working towards NVQs at several levels in Health and Social Care.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Observe, monitor and record care interactions with Residents on our user-friendly electronic care system.
- Assist in the safe movement of Residents.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, toileting.
- Previous Care Experience is desirable but not essential.
- Passion and enthusiasm for caring is a must.
- Must be able to work well within a team but also on a solo basis.
- Be able to follow Company policies and procedures.
- In date training is desirable, although training will be given.
- It would also be an advantage to hold a Health and Social Care Diploma or NVQ
- A level of flexibility to be able to cover shifts and work weekends
- Due to our location, having your own transport would be highly advantageous although buses do pass the home, these do not run late into the evening and are limited on Sundays and bank holidays
- Clean background check. If you do not already have one you will be supported to apply for one through our partners with the cost reimbursed after 3 months employment.
Salary and hours
- 9 ¾ hours per night, the hours of the shifts are 9pm to 6.45am.
- £11.60 per hour, includes an attendance bonus of 45p an hour for attending all of your shifts in a week
- If you have an NVQ or Diploma you receive 30p per hour extra to your basic wage rate.

COVID-19 considerations:
You will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 (two jabs) and be able to provide evidence of your vaccinations. Interviews will take place on site and a negative LFT will be needed. Staff are required to participate in the Covid-19 testing schedule.
