Appleby Care Home in North Shields are currently seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our team on a full or part time basis.
We offer first class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.

Appleby Care Home provides specialist dementia (EMI) care for up to a number of residents in North Shields.Part of Larchwood Care Homes, the purpose built home offers a safe and secure environment promoting independence and well-being. There are a number of care packages available offering long and short term care including nursing.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant working 38.5 hours per week
We are looking for exceptional individuals with the right attitude, skills and knowledge who share our passion to deliver the best quality care experience.
To apply for this role you must have the following:
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Confident team player
- Satisfactory Policy check and check against the SOVA list
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Program
- Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User Group
- NVQ level 2 in care (desirable but not essential)

The safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff are our priority. Currently, we have had a fantastic take up of vaccinations for staff and residents and the number continues to rise.
