Medical Receptionist Vacancy
30 – 37.5 hours per week (flexible)
Alpine House Surgery now has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our very friendly and hardworking team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Previous reception experience.
- The ability to demonstrate excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of working with SystmOne is desirable.
- Friendly, polite and compassionate about patient care, whilst understanding the strict guidelines of confidentiality.
- The ability to work collaboratively as a team, both within the surgery and with external organisations.
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast changing environment.
- An excellent eye for detail.
- The ability to follow protocols closely.
- A knowledge of medical terminology desirable but not essential.
Applicants will need to be flexible to occasionally cover holidays and sickness if required.
HOURS OF WORK
Hours of Work are negotiable (including full and half days). A typical full day is as follows:-
AM: 7.45am – 12.45pm : (lunch break: 12.45pm – 1.45pm) : PM 1.45pm – 6.45pm
SALARY
£10.42 per hour
