If this sounds like you, we are looking for Service Advisors to support our NHS 111 teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in the NHS 111 service in a new model of working to deliver high quality care to our patients.
As a hybrid working Service Advisor, you will be handling selected calls from patients and healthcare professionals, updating systems as appropriate and following standard operating procedures to respond to patient questions. In a role where no two days are the same, we offer an excellent support network, fully paid training and career development, and the opportunity to become an NHS 111 Health Advisor within your first year.
You will be patient focused, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate respect, professionalism, and consideration at all times.
Whilst this role is predominantly hybrid working you will need to travel to your assigned office (either Ashford, Kent, Ipswich or Norwich) when required. This will include attending a contact centre for further training and/or face to face support and guidance.
To work from home, you will need a suitable internet connection (minimum requirement -20+ Mbps download / 4+ Mbps upload) and a quiet, private space to work from. If you don’t meet these requirements, you will work from one of our contact centres in Ashford (Kent), Ipswich or Norwich. We will provide everything you need to get started, including equipment and training.

IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.
Location Hybrid working with travel to one of our contact centres in either Ashford (Kent), Ipswich or Norwich as and when required
Hours We have full time opportunities covering a 24/7 operation
Please be aware since we are predominantly an out of hours service most of our shifts involve weekend and evening work and shift patterns can vary, however we are confident we can find a rota that suits you.
All colleagues will be required to work some hours on a Saturday and Sunday. You will also be required to work some bank and public holidays.
Additional hours may also be available in times of peak demand.
Training We have full and part time training opportunities.
Full time courses are Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 over 7 working days followed by supportive practice.
Part time courses are evenings from 18:00 – 22:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00 held over 3 weeks.
You must be able to attend every day of the training.
