The Markets & Securities Services (MSS) Non-Financial Risk (NFR) team is a global function that sits within the Markets & Securities Services area within Global Banking & Markets. The NFR team helps manage and control non-financial risks in the business, including but not limited to assurance, information control, conduct and product lifecycle risk.

The Information Control function within the NFR also has oversight of and manages the framework by which the business handles non-public information.

We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of MSS NFR – Information Handling Analyst.

The primary purpose will be to initially work within the Risk Specialist - Information Control pillar with opportunities to work across the whole structure as a generalist assisting the specialised areas offering analytical support across the MSS Businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Own, manage, and continually assess the effectiveness of key processes / controls, including but not limited to: Wall Crossing; NDA Information sharing; Physical Segregation; Physical Access
  • React to Group wide organisational changes to ensure that the key principles of Information Control and appropriate Information barrier segregation are adhered to
  • Continually engage with Private Side NFR counterparts to ensure the control and effectiveness of information transfer across the Private/Public Information Barrier.
  • Participate in process improvement work and ad hoc projects
  • Maintain issues log and track progress in a timely manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following:

  • Proven experience in an analytical data or risk and control’s role with some knowledge of Financial Markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in addition to being confident in collaborating with global colleagues and stakeholders
  • Analytical and business focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure and within stringent timelines
  • Be a self-starter who can work flexibility across multiple time zones
  • Ability to clearly articulate implications of analysis and findings and learn and grasp new systems, tools and databases quickly

The base location for this role is London.
