WTW have an opportunity within our Information & Cyber Security (ICS) team as a cyber security focussed Education, Awareness and Communications Associate.
This role will support the activities of Information Cyber Security (ICS), Education, Awareness and Communications department, focusing on the delivery of global cyber security training, behavioural change programs, maintaining relevant training collateral and intranet site, assisting in conducting simulated phish tests and leading on ICS communications.
This role is aligned to our hybrid workstyle, predominantly based from home with occasional travel to WTW offices.
The Role
- Assisting with delivery of a mandatory corporate training program that educates colleagues on policies and best practices ensuring that the program is intuitive to use, provides engaging activities to reinforce positive behaviours, and serves as a repository for security guidance and references.
- Manage and deliver content using the agreed upon delivery channels for the priority topics that have been established by the ICS leadership team.
- Assisting coordination, delivery, and analysis of regular awareness phishing campaigns working with external service supplier.
- Analysis of post phish data to feed into wider reporting and training allocation.
- Working with the key WTW stakeholders to ensure effective communication related to Information Cyber Security Matters.
- Assisting in defining and delivering awareness campaign cycle and building out content, channel, and scope.
- Practical knowledge of different message distribution techniques to ensure end user communities understand and continually apply the required behaviours necessary to reduce the 'human factors' risk.
- Creative thinking and understanding of audience to produce engaging materials in a variety of formats and media.
- Maintaining the ICS intranet site “CyberHub” based on modern SharePoint.
- Assist and support other members of the Security Awareness and Training team to ensure their deliverables are met.
- Review existing training programs, suggesting enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
- Develop metrics to measure success of the education and awareness program.
The Requirements
Skills:
- Knowledge of learning assessment techniques, computer-based training and e-learning services.
- Experience in a training role is desirable, but at a minimum experience of conveying information to audiences through communications or learning material.
- Knowledge of information security and risk mitigation principles, theories, and techniques in daily work.
- Knowledge and understanding of cyber threats and the threat landscape.
- Ability to work as part of a team or solo.
- Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to present information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- The ability to foster and grow relationships.
- Experience of working in a live operational environment, rather than a purely academic setting.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight and competitive deadline.
- Clear understanding of what makes employees listen to communications.
