Location: Northern Ireland (hybrid working between home and the local BRC office)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week (typically working 4 days)
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Are you passionate about the work of the British Red Cross? Could you collaborate with news outlets across Northern Ireland to deliver sustained, positive media coverage in line with strategic objectives?
The Northern Ireland Media Officer will work with outlets across Northern Ireland, positioning the British Red Cross in key national and regional media, including newspapers and magazines, online, TV, and radio to deliver sustained, positive media coverage. Through these mediums you will promote greater public awareness and understanding of the British Red Cross across Northern Ireland.
Your work should inspire the public to take action to support people living in crisis, in the UK and around the world and to truly help connect human kindness with human crisis.

Meet the team
You will work closely alongside colleagues in our Social Media, News, PR, Content and Policy & Advocacy teams who are keen to innovate and explore how we can engage with new and more diverse audiences.
Together, the teams help make up the Strategy and Communications directorate which tells stories about who we are, what we do, what we believe, and the difference we make to people's lives.
