Purpose

As a New Client Manager, you'll identify and follow up on new business opportunities in order to generate revenue and help the business grow. Day to day duties include:

  • Fostering and developing new business relationships with prospective clients in the IoT or Video world.
  • Generating and following up on sales leads in collaboration with the wider teams.
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Ongoing development of a strong sales pipeline.
  • Continuously improving your knowledge on the business’ products and services to be able to effectively sell these over the phone and via Teams.
  • Working collaboratively with the Client Services team and Candidate Management team to ensure that the business you are bringing in is being serviced correctly.

Core skills

  • Demonstrable experience in searching, identifying, and engaging with new clients within a particular business area, ideally within a similar sector.
  • Experience in new business development activities with a relentless pursuit to generate leads and confidently pitch to new businesses.
  • The ability to understand people, sell opportunities and handle objections with ease.
  • To be IT literate, particularly with MS Office Suite and be able to pick up new systems quickly.
  • A keen interest in smart technology is essential.
  • Articulate, with great interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and communicate with a variety of people in a professional environment (language skills are a bonus!)
  • Highly organised, displaying great attention to detail and a process driven nature.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with an exceptional degree of self-accountability.
