Job description
We are looking for a New Business Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of New Business, your will be responsible for managing new business enquiries in line with the company’s sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities –
New Business (90%)
Opportunities
- Respond to prospect enquires
- Identify, grow and collaborate on opportunities to ensure growth attainment
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospects
- Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
- Identify tender opportunities from known sources and prepare the companies responses at each stage of the process
Quotations/Orders & Invoicing
- Liaise with Account Support to provide quotations for service within the product/services and price ranges defined by the Technical Architects
- Production of contracts for services
- Invoicing clients appropriately for any goods/services provided and contracts initiated
Administration
- Prepare presentations for prospect meetings
- Ensure all sales opportunities are logged in PipeDrive and are kept up to date
- Proactively follow up leads generated
- Organise and host prospects at our offices
- Attendance and participation at internal sales meetings
- Handover projects won to the company’s Project Manager
Prospecting (10%)
- Proactively identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments with prospects
- Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
- Attend networking / expos as and when required
To be successful in this role, you must able to demonstrate -
Qualification
- Must hold full clean UK Driving Licence
Experience
- Must have excellent, proven IT background, ideally for a Microsoft Partner/Managed Service Provider
- People management experience would be an advantage

Knowledge
- Must be able to deal with technical product information
New Business Manager package -
- Base salary of £45,000 - £50,000
- 25 days holidays per annum + public holidays + the ability to purchase up to 10 more
