Job description

Neurosurgery assistant is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining and recording vitals, reviewing and updating medical history and medications, assisting in minor office procedures and dressing changes, maintaining medical records, obtaining authorizations for, and scheduling diagnostic testing and surgical procedures

Education and Training
High school graduate or equivalent required
Attendance and graduation from Neurological Technology program preferred
Certified Medical Assistant required
BLS required.


Experience
Two (2) to four (4) years experience preferred.
