Support, document and maintain radio design and delivery standards required for Macro rollout. To drive innovation and new solutions in line with Vodafone strategy to evolve RAN coverage and capability.
Job Responsibility
What will you be doing?
Working closely with Vodafone teams, external suppliers and stakeholders, provide technical guidance on site design.- Responsibility in defining and documenting the necessary technical and delivery standards to support delivery teams and suppliers to rollout.
- Where necessary, define process and procedures for relevant network deployment and drive automation.
- Working closely with OSS, GIS, Tools and Workflow teams to support the development of the various tools and interfaces required to support RAN deployment.
- Support and drive the onboarding of new RAN hardware or services from concept to live network trials.
- Where necessary, attend Vodafone RAN Sites to support design, trials, fault finding and problem solving.
Who are we looking for?
Good technical knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G RAN systems, including supporting tools and systems.- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive through complex tasks with other SMEs.
- Strategic and tactical awareness
- Commercial awareness – identify cost efficiencies to reduce OPEX/CAPEX spend
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand
- Experience with cross-functionally working and driving collaboration between teams and functions
