Location: Field based (Glasgow/Hybrid)
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do


To lead a field team to complete technology upgrades at site level, ensuring process governance and documentation is available and adhered to. Needs to understand and work out Materials, Hardware and Software required to complete upgrades on multiple equipment Vendors. To drive innovation and new solutions in line with Vodafone strategy to evolve RAN coverage and capability. .


What will you be doing?


  • Managing Technology Demand to ensure field teams can deliver against various RAN Eqpt Vendors
  • Collaboration with Logistics for HW Ordering and supply / Warehousing
  • Ensuring CDM requirements are implemented, and aligned with VF H&S
  • Site readiness and acceptance of new technologies deployed (HOPs)
  • Where necessary, define process and procedures for relevant network deployment.
  • Document governance, including storage, issuing, version control of all site documentation


Who are we looking for?


  • Sound knowledge of the Radio Access Network (RAN)
  • Understanding of Site Commissioning / Integration requirements to guide team
  • Strategic and tactical awareness
  • Commercial awareness – identify cost efficiencies to reduce OPEX/CAPEX spend
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand
  • Excellent Leadership Skills to manage field teams in day to day accountabilities
