With offices in Belfast, Dublin and Thetford we are seeking to recruit an Administrative Support Officer to join the team in Belfast.
Trainee Data Engineers form part of engineering resource. Teaming up with more experienced engineers and as additional resource on larger sites, the role of a Trainee is ideal for someone coming into the industry for the first time, or those learning the trade and, on their way, to becoming an Engineer.
You will be trained/required to carry out complete installations from start to finish and will gain experience with data cabling, termination and testing of cat5e, cat6, cat6a, cat 7 and fibre optic installations
Although experience is not essential, any previous experience within the structured cabling arena is considered preferable. A valid skilled CSR card is also considered a major plus point.
No qualifications required as training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, flexible, reliable, proactive, and competent with written and spoken communication.
Key aspects to the role of the Trainee Data Engineer are a strong work ethic, excellent attendance and punctuality and a will to work hard and self-development.
Development and Progression
Trainee Data Engineers will come across plenty of opportunities to develop and increase their experience levels across a number of different projects. Some of the projects may involve out of hours work and working away.
The development of Trainees will be handled by regular appraisals and suitable training will be offered where appropriate to help and encourage development.
The progression path for a Trainee Data Engineer is towards the position of Engineer. This will be made available in line with the business needs once they meet the minimum Engineer requirements.

We offer a competitive package commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate, including professional training and long-term career development opportunities.
