CCNA Network Field Engineer position to work on a project basis for a consultancy to deliver a large scale network routing & switching refresh across London.
CCNA Network Field Engineer / IT Network Engineer
Initial 3 month contract, likely to be 12 – 18 months
Based in Central London
£125 - £160 / day (Limited / Umbrella Company)

Full driving licence is essential

This position is working outside of IR35 on a project assignment.
An exciting opportunity to work for an IT consultancy on a large-scale project to deliver a network refresh of all Cisco routers & switches. The project will be to replace legacy switches and routers with new Cisco equipment, installing the new equipment, configuring the iOS upgrades on the routers & switches, migrating over the services then decommissioning the old equipment.
Required Skills:
- Current IT networking background
- Experience in installing Cisco networking equipment including patching of fibre and copper connections into switches and routers
- Experience of configuring iOS upgrades on routers & switches (no design work)
- Ideally CCNA certified
- Strong experience with Cisco routers & switches
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
This position could potentially suit a Network Field Engineer / Network Analyst / Network Engineer / Network Technician / IT Support Analyst / IT Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Analyst / Helpdesk Engineer / Desktop Support / Telecoms Engineer / Mobile Engineer support person with experience of installing Cisco equipment, including routers & switches.
This is a contract position for an initial 3 month contract (expected to be a long term 12-18 month+ role) and is looking to start ASAP and will be flexible on pay, depending upon background and experience, ranging from £125 - £160 / day (Limited / Umbrella company).
