Job Description
Senior Network Engineer is required by a global Quantitative Investment Manager. The fund specialises in diversified cross asset trading utilising a variety of trading frequencies and is considered a market leader in the Quantitative Investment space. 2023 has been a growth year for the firm so far with triple digit hiring in technology alone. This rapid growth requires continued investment across the technology estate with the recruitment of a Senior Network Engineer being key to the successful delivery of various high profile connectivity and collaboration projects pipelined for this year.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of Routing and Switching principles (CCIE EI Level) including Multicast
- Demonstrable track record in the design and delivery of both data and voice (inc. Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Expressway, Cisco Jabber/Webex Teams) enterprise networking and communication solutions (based on the Cisco ecosystem)
- Experience of the full network project lifecycle - design, implementation and advanced operational support
- Demonstrable experience of perimeter security techniques including detailed knowledge of next-generation firewalls and threat prevention
This is an extremely varied role that encompasses Cloud and on-premise data, voice and security technologies and would suit a highly experienced network generalist looking to perform a varied and challenging role in complex technology environment. Please note: working practices are hybrid but would suit someone who can commute into London easily. The role attracts a highly competitive salary and performance-based bonus
