Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kubernetes Network Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Kubernetes Network Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure for our Kubernetes clusters. You will collaborate closely with the DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our containerized applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable network architectures for Kubernetes clusters.
- Configure and manage network policies, load balancers, and ingress controllers for containerized applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in Kubernetes environments.
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices related to Kubernetes networking.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in designing and implementing network infrastructure for Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts, including pod networking, service discovery, and load balancing.
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, and VPN.
- Hands-on experience with container networking technologies like Calico, Flannel, or Cilium.
- Solid knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- PHP development is an added bonus pay option.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes certification (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA).
- Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., VXLAN, VRF).
- Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) solutions like Kubernetes Network Plugins (CNI).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for Kubernetes networking.
