Job Description:
Equate Group Ltd is seeking an IT Network Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time field engineering role when site visits are required but when not required is either based in our office in the South East or at your home. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can work independently as well as collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have experience with networking, troubleshooting, and troubleshooting protocols such as Ethernet, WiFi, Firewalls, VPN's, Cyber security, Servers, Microsoft & Hosted products. We are looking for someone who can work on a team and has the ability to think on their own. This position comes with a company car, mobile and laptop.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Analyze network traffic to identify network issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Install and configure new hardware and software on company computers
- Support our clients by providing technical support via phone, chat, or email when needed
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience with networking, troubleshooting, and troubleshooting protocols such as Ethernet, WiFi, Firewalls.
- Must be able to work on a team and have the ability to think independently without direct supervision.
- Must have excellent communication skills (written & oral) with the ability to interact professionally with co-workers at all levels of the organization.
- Must have a driving license for onsite visits.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
