Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

• NOC 3rd line engineering support, including but not limited to the following activities:
• Provide network related support to DXC deployed test and verification lab environments located in Erskine including :

1 - Networks implementation, test and verification of Node builds

2 - Providing networking configurations

3 - Staging of equipment

4 - Physical patching

• Carry out testing for BAU driven changes and provide associated test reports
• Network configuration and design collateral management update and appropriately record documentation in the DXC / DXC Customer provided systems
• Adhere to Project Enhancement Release (PER) processes as needed
• Validate the configurations applied by 3rd parties to Nodes [GP1] against the approved configuration
• Validate the configurations applied by 3rd parties to Nodes [GP2] against as part of the Node acceptance process
• Escalation for incidents reported via the service management tools (SM9) for the in-scope devices as requested by NOC Level 2
• Provide ad hoc, reactive support for high priority and short notice requests related to in scope devices
• Attend Meetings as required by the business
