As a Network Engineer, your primary responsibility will be managing data centres and ensuring the smooth operation of the existing infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the Cisco ACI fabric, collaborating with support vendors, and working closely with our global infrastructure and applications teams to optimise the network in an agile and security-focused environment. Additionally, you will work with colleagues to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of networking solutions design and configuration, as well as proficient knowledge of analysis principles, industry practices, regulations, and overall network operations. Previous experience with Cisco routing and switching is essential, as it forms the backbone of this technical position.
Key Skills:
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP (Routing & Switching) certification or relevant experience.
- Familiarity with SD WAN / WAN.
- Proficiency in Cisco Nexus platforms.
