AWTG, the world leader in 5G application development, is looking for Senior Network Engineer and System Administrator to join its Innovations and Engineering Division based in London. We are looking for a goal oriented and driven network engineers with relevant experiences in System Administration, Network Security and IT Infrastructure design and management. Job Description:
Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain corporate networks, communications systems and data centre technologies.

  • Subject matter expert in IP networks, IT infrastructure, Network Security and System Integration.
  • Design and implement full IT networks
  • Manage and administer IT systems
  • Maintain and review operational and maintain technical documentation.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot.
  • Network health checks using available end-to-end monitoring tools for AWTG corporate networks.
  • Provide system integration and IP connectivity to 4G and 5G deployments of the company.
  • Support the teams to identify their IT infrastructure project requirements and solutions.
  • Define and implement projects to standardize and improve our existing network and infrastructure as well as our clients.
  • Produce high-level solution designs and work with third parties to secure accurate quotes for hardware, software and professional services. This will involve liaising with the Vendors and work with them for the best outcome for solutions.
  • Coordinate and plan data center hardware changes, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies both internally and for our clients.
  • Review and approve operational, infrastructural change requests for both internal and our clients.
  • Define data and IT security systems within the company and for any client that requires it.
  • Delivery of solutions for our client’s platforms, systems and infrastructure using your strong background in networking and cloud computing.

  • Capable of designing and using Cisco, Extreme, Juniper, Brocade, Ruckus, Ericsson, and Nokia equipment
  • Knowledge of virtualization, virtual containers, NFV and SDN
  • Capable of undertaking 5G connectivity and infrastructure design
  • VPN, remote access, NAT knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
