The Role: What you will do?

Are you an Accredited Counsellor looking to work with flexibility and freedom?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing network of affiliate Counsellors delivering phone and video-based treatments. This a great chance to use your skills, experience and professional approach to make a tangible difference to our clients' emotional health and wellbeing whilst working flexibly for as many hours as you choose.

You should possess experience of delivering counselling within a psychological therapies service or private practice for at least 3 years as well as an understanding of the quality standards required to provide first-class clinical care. On behalf of Vita Health Group you will deliver structured short term solution focused wellbeing counselling, typically six to eight sessions. Some of the benefits of working with us include:

  • All cases will either have been fully assessed or screened by a clinician to ensure their suitability for the most appropriate treatment pathway

Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Recognised Counselling Qualification – ideally Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above)
  • To be a registered member with the ICO.
  • To complete essential yearly mandatory training in the following-
    • Adult Safeguarding level 3
    • Child Safeguarding level 3
    • Data Protection and Information Security
    • Preventing Level 1&2 or Level 3
    • EDI/Cultural Awareness or equivalent
  • BACP (or equivalent) Accredited Membership
  • A minimum of 3 years counselling experience, preferably with a variety of diverse client groups.
  • Self-motivated and confident in remote working to cover agreed shift patterns.
