About the role:
We are looking for a Senior .Net developer to support GDS toolset - IMTrack \ Webstatus Reports.
The role will work together with the Pre-Sales and Architecture team, DMS Application Support team and business teams to ensure that solutions are implemented effectively and efficiently ensuring that the needs of the end customer (whether internal or external) are successfully deployed in support of the company business objectives and requirements.
The successful candidate will be contributing to the overall strategy and evolution of the technology platforms used to support the Document Processing environment including operational processes enabled by technology, document capture, indexing, classification and workflow processing, image processing, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Providing DMS IT governance over any opportunities that come from either internal lron Mountain peer department and/or external interactions ensuring solutions are within capability
- Providing clarity to Software Engineers and Application Engineers and Developers in respect of proven effective and efficient processes to ensuring solutions are within capability
- Responsible for the operational understanding and technical implementation and onboarding of all customer solutions – a core focus on quality solutions where the most efficient and effective operational and customer interaction is provided
- Drive and enable continuous improvement initiatives within all DMS teams ensuring that there is a demonstrable business benefit
- Overseeing and reviewing project changes to ensure they are achieved and that cost are realized and recovered
What will you bring?
- Advanced experience in imaging technologies including Document Scanning, Distributed Capture, understanding of Imaging File formats, Data Extraction, OCR, ICR, Barcode Recognition, and Document Separation methods
- Development: Kofax Capture APIs, ECM APIs, ( i.e Alfresco, Onbase etc.), Visual Studio .Net, VB6, Java Script, Java, .NET, HTML, XML/XSLT, Web Services
- Databases: Stored Procedures, Oracle, SQL Server, UDB/DB2
- Strong experience of business process, integration, development or information management and experience
- Proven experience of overall professional consultative business and technical experience required
- Demonstrated experience of working in an Agile environment
- Driving and enabling the troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on DMS
- applications, process and systems to diagnose issues and rectify them
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, Master’s in Business or Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- British National who has lived in the UK for more than 5 consecutive years and is able to pass a Home office Security Clearance check (SC)
