We are authorised to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for Rolls-Royce marine gas turbines used for marine propulsion.

A vacancy has arisen within the Advanced Remanufacturing Business for an NDT Operator. The successful candidate will be based at Dyce, Aberdeen reporting to the NDT Supervisor. The primary function of the role will be to perform NDT operations within ARB, ensuring compliance with company procedures / industry standards.
Job Description:
- Perform relevant NDT methods in accordance with customer specifications and RWG procedures, mainly Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
- Conduct scheduled control checks of equipment and process lines to ensure compliance is achieved and maintained against customer requirements
- Interpretation of NDT test results and compilation of test reports when necessary
- Documentation of NDT process controls
- Preventative maintenance of NDT equipment and associated tooling
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and conduct 5S duties
- The department recognise a number of shift patterns, and there will be an opportunity to work overtime.
Core Competencies/Technical Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in reading and interpretation of technical specifications
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Have thorough approach to testing and record documentation
Experience:
- NDT experience preferable
- Understanding of technical drawings and specifications is compulsory
- Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE procedures and COSHH requirements
